FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a polyolefin composition for making pipe systems and sheets. The composition has a melt flow index of 0.05-10 dg/min and contains 1-9.5 wt % propylene and 1-hexene copolymer and 80.5-99 wt % heterophase polypropylene composition. The heterophase polypropylene composition contains 50-85 wt % propylene homopolymer and 5-50 wt % ethylene and propylene copolymer having 30-70 wt % ethylene. The ethylene and propylene copolymer is insoluble in xylene at room temperature in an amount greater than 85 wt % and has a polydispersity index in the range of 3-10, and a melt flow index of 0.5-10 dg/min according to ISO 1133 (5 kg, 230°C).
EFFECT: pipe systems obtained from said composition have an optimum balance and are intended for transporting fluid media outside and inside structures at high pressure and/or a gravity sewerage system.
