FIELD: metallurgy; manufacture of pipes from low-carbon steels.
SUBSTANCE: proposed pipe has inner wear-resistant layer, outer corrosion-resistant layer made from ferrite and low-carbon steel layer located in pipe wall core between two layers; wear-resistant layer is solid silicon solution in α-iron at hardness of 200-300 HV units and content of silicon of 14.5-18.0 vol.%; thickness of corrosion-resistant layer and wear-resistant layer is 0.02-0.20 of pipe wall thickness; content of carbon in inner wear-resistant layer does not exceed 0.02 vol.%.
EFFECT: enhanced corrosion resistance of pipes in aggressive media.
