FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method for producing sheets of clad steel is claimed. The method includes production of sheet blank which consists of a basic layer of carbon steel and a cladding layer of corrosion-resistant steel, and its hot rolling. Heating of the blank before hot rolling is carried out in temperature range from 1200 to 1250°C, and cooling after the rolling is carried out to temperature of 600-650° at the rate of at least 7°C/sec to produce a sheet of clad steel, where the cladding layer of corrosion-resistant steel has a martensite structure and contains components in the following ratio, wt %: carbon 0.01-0.15, silicon 0.20-0.70, manganese 0.50-4.5, chromium 13-16, nickel 2.7-6.5, molybdenum 0.01-2.5, titanium 0.01-0.10, vanadium 0.01-0.10, niobium 0.03-0.10, nitrogen 0.1-0.5, phosphorus no more than 0.003, sulphur not more than 0.005, iron and unavoidable impurities are the rest.
EFFECT: increased strength and wear resistance of the cladding layer, improved surface quality.
