FIELD: carbon materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention provides a method for manufacturing carbonaceous fibrous materials via continuous or intermittent carbonization of cellulose pulps in presence of at least one organosilicon compound, which is characterized by that organosilicon compound is selected from group of oligomers and polymers with cross-linked structure, cyclic or with branched chain, having average molecular mass 500 to 10000 and constituted by chain units SiO4 (referred to as Q4 units) and chain units SiOxRy(OR')z, where x, y, and z are integers meeting following conditions: x+y+z=4 and 1≤x≤3, 0≤y≤3, and 0≤z≤3; R represents hydrogen or linear or branched C1-C10-alkyl radical, provided that different R radicals can be present in the same unit if y≥2; R', independently of R, represents hydrogen or linear or branched C1-C10-alkyl radical, provided that different R' radicals can be present in the same unit if z≥2.
EFFECT: expanded possibilities for production of carbonaceous fibrous materials.
