FIELD: textile, paper.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the method of obtaining carbon fibres from basic cellulose fibrous materials and can be used as reinforcing fillers of composite materials. The above method in a continuous mode involves three production stages: pre-carbonisation, carbonisation and graphitisation. At pre-carbonisation stage, basic cellulose fibrous material is saturated with liquid oligomeric resin solution with high content of silanol groups of common formula HO{[MeSi(OH)O][Me2SiO]m}nH, where Me - methyl, m=1-3, n=3-10, with molar weight 900-2400, viscosity 520-1700 CP. Alcohols - derivatives of hydrocarbon family C2-C5 and acetone represent an organic solvent.
EFFECT: invention provides formation of carbon fibres and fibrous materials having high strength properties.
