FIELD: measurement technology; investigating inner surfaces of gas flue tubes.
SUBSTANCE: module case made in the form of shell with hemispherical head and cylindrical lateral part has at least two disks installed on cylindrical part; largest disk of diameter (4 - 6)d is secured at distance of (0.3 - 0.92)d from front end of cylindrical part; all disks are spaced (1.4 - 1.6)d apart, where d is diameter of central part; module mass is higher by minimum five times than its aerodynamic drag force and module center of gravity is disposed at distance not longer than half the cylindrical part length. Such shape of module case ensures module stability in nonuniform upward swirling gas flow which eliminates its swinging.
EFFECT: enhanced precision and reliability of data on inner surfaces of gas flue tubes.
