FIELD: rocketry, mainly constructions of aerial fairings with a radar guidance system.
SUBSTANCE: the antenna fairing of the missile includes a radiotransparent shell of porous quartz ceramics consisting of an inner radiotransparent power element of porous ceramic with polymer inserted in the pores and an outer heat-shielding element of porous quartz ceramics connected by a layer of sealant to a frame of invar. The outer heat-shielding element additionally has an outer sealing layer of porous quartz ceramics with polymer introduced in the pores. The thickness of the layers of ceramics with polymer are equal in height of the fairing and make up 1-2 mm. Oligomer with a molecular weight of 2900 is used as polymer, and quartz ceramics with a porosity of 10-12%, bending strength not lower than 40 Mpa and a coefficient of heat conduction not higher than 1.0 W/m/K is used as porous quartz ceramics.
EFFECT: enhanced service life.
