FIELD: hovercraft.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to air-cushion vehicles with automatic control of roll and trim angles. Proposed air-cushion vehicle has hull, air-cushion guard with air duct arranged over perimeter of hull and connected with conical members, engine, air propulsor and blowers-fans. Air-cushion guard air duct is divided by diaphragms into spaces, each being connected with corresponding fan and provided with gate operated by drive. Pressure transmitters are arranged in space of number of conical members. Connected of adjacent conical members by pneumatic means in form of holes in side walls, channel or additional air duct reduces spread in readings of pressure transmitters which improves efficiency of stabilization. Pickups mounted on hull of air-cushion vehicle are used to indicate angles, angular velocities and/or accelerations in pitch and roll. Signals from pickups are delivered to computer which generates control signal for drives turning the gates and for aerial rudder control drives creating restoring moments.
EFFECT: reduced amplitudes of angular displacements and acceleration in air-cushion vehicle caused by action of irregularities of ground.
