SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway wheeled vehicles. Diesel locomotive geared wheel unit comprises traction motor fitted on mounted axle with the help of axial bearing. This invention differs from known designs in that traction motor bosses are articulated with rods of hydraulic cylinders mounted at the bogie and communicated via hydraulic pressure control valve with hydraulic station arranged in locomotive body.
EFFECT: higher reliability of wheel flanges at pedestal-free bogies.
