FIELD: equipment for cleaning oil and artesian wells from dirt, silt, heavy mechanical contaminants and sand in oil industry and in housing and communal services.
SUBSTANCE: sludge trap has body with removable base, head and delivering line. Side channels for sludge-containing process liquid flowing are formed in upper body part. Head is provided with sealing funnel for collecting sludge inside body after stoppage of process liquid delivery. Delivering pipe comprises top member with orifices directed tangentially to top member axis to create swirled process liquid flow.
EFFECT: possibility to recover intake capacity of oil or artesian well due to removing dirt and other contaminants from the well.
