FIELD: equipment for selecting high-quality seeds, may be used for investigation of individual properties of seeds for the purpose of selection thereof.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus has individual seed feeding mechanism, main measurement converter, resistance sensors and capacitors, additional measurement converter, micro processor, and additional seed feeding mechanism. Additional seed feeding mechanism is formed as rectangular trough fixed on two springs. Ferromagnetic member is located in the middle part of one of said springs. Electromagnet is located in predetermined position with respect to ferromagnetic member. Rectangular trough is made from dielectric material. Resistance sensors and capacitors are connected to main and additional measurement converters, respectively. Outputs of both converters are connected to microprocessor, which, in turn, is connected to inputs for permitting actuation of electromagnet, individual seed feeding mechanism and reversal stepped engine. Electrodes of sensors are made in the form of plates fixed in spaced apart relation on inner faces of trough, lengthwise thereof.
EFFECT: increased precision in selecting of biologically valuable seeds.
