FIELD: metal continuous casting processes and equipment.
SUBSTANCE: method for decentralized processing of casting process data obtained in mold with use of pickups in control computer of system for controlling continuous casting plant provides enhanced quality of measurements and simplifies apparatus as measurement data and control data are obtained in cooled modules with field bus directly on mold. Then data are transmitted as bus signals to bus line and they are stored and(or) processed at least in system for controlling continuous casting plant.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of processing data read by means of pickups at casting process.
