FIELD: life-saving appliances for smaller sailing vessels, mainly for yachts.
SUBSTANCE: proposed life-saving gear includes elastic reservoir placed in container and connected to compressed gas source and mechanism for control of compressed gas delivery. Container with elastic reservoir is secured on mast above point of attachment of side shrouds; compressed gas delivery control mechanism is made in form of flexible member engageable with change-over valve lever locked by compacted briquette of water-soluble organic agent, commercial sugar for example. Flexible member and briquette of water-soluble agent are placed in housing having perforated bottom and covered with waterproof film-type jacket with sealing rubber collar for change-over valve lever.
EFFECT: low danger of capsizing of smaller sailing vessels with keel upward and complete flooding of them.
