FIELD: shipbuilding; creation of main and additional sail propulsors. SUBSTANCE: ship's rigging includes soft sails with control system and mast formed by rods mounted in inclined position from ship's longitudinal axis. Mast contour of pyramid formed by at least two rigid rods on each side. Sails are secured on rollers which are mounted on swivel cross-members which are movable longitudinally along sides in guides of ship's deck. Cross-members are interconnected by means of rope-and-pulley system for joint or separate motion. Guides of deck may be provided with extensible friction stops which are engageable with disks rigidly connected with cross-members. It is good practice to connect cross-members by means of pulley-and-rope system which is equipped with drums mounted on common axle which may rotate simultaneously or separately. EFFECT: improved maneuverability of ship; ease of use of rigging. 3 cl, 7 dwg
