FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shipbuilding, namely to life-saving equipment on the water. The device for ensuring the buoyancy of small boats is characterized by the presence inside the hull of a small boat of containers for inflating the gaseous medium, which provide lift in case of emergency flooding. Emergency life-saving appliances are mounted symmetrically along the keel on both sides of the vessel, while each of the emergency life-saving appliances is made in the form of an elastic inflatable shell containing a valve for supplying a gas medium to the shell, connected to a gas cylinder. The gas cylinder contains a pressurized gas medium or a squib with the possibility of providing lifting force when filling the shell and a valve for discharging the gaseous medium to collapse the shell. The shell is fixed to at least one of the ship's hull elements.
EFFECT: exclusion of the sinking of small vessels, loss of life and flooding of the floating facility without significant limitation of the free volumes of the vessel.
