FIELD: packing equipment, particularly devices for folding or bending wrappers around contents.
SUBSTANCE: device is used with packing equipment, which units a number of items 2 into single unit and wraps the unit with continuous cardboard sheet 3. Cardboard sheet 3 is folded and glued along one longitudinal unit side. The device comprises two substantially parallel cam profiles 10, 11, continuous drive circuit 13 extending parallel to cam profiles 10, 11 and carrying several holding members 14. Each holding member consists of at least one folding means 15 and one pressing member 16. Folding member 15 is arranged so that folding means slide along cam profile 10. Pressing member 16 follows the second cam profile 11.
EFFECT: increased productivity, increased reliability of cardboard sheet connection.
