FIELD: petroleum processing and petrochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention provides a method for evaluation of quantitative content and makeup of nitrogen-containing bases in various colored hydrocarbon media (crude oils, petroleum products, rock extracts, and the like). Thus obtained data may find use in investigation of oil migration processes and choice of optimal oil production and processing technologies. Method is accomplished by extraction of test material with 25% sulfuric acid solution in 80% acetic acid, after which extract is subjected to chromatographic separation on silicic acid at adsorbent-to-sample weight ratio 100:1 and using carbon tetrachloride/benzene (70:30 v/v) mixture as eluent.
EFFECT: increased degree of isolation of nitrogen compounds from hydrocarbon blends in order to obtain more information on distribution thereof and extension of their application area.
