SUBSTANCE: invention relates to treatment of environment objects from pollutions with petroleum and petroleum products using microorganisms. The strain is deposited as Rhodococcus erythropolis VKPM Ac-1668. The strain is isolated from the petroleum-polluted soil sample in Bashkorstan Republic and it able to grow in many natural and synthetic media. The strain Rhodococcus erythropolis elicits the high utilization rate of petroleum and petroleum products.
