SUBSTANCE: invention relates to treatment of environment objects from pollutions with petroleum and petroleum products. The strain is deposited as Rhodococcus erythropolis VKPM Ac-1667. The strain is isolated from the petroleum-polluted soil sample in Bashkorstan Republic and it grows in many natural and synthetic media. The proposed strain Rhodococcus erythropolis elicits high utilization rate of petroleum and petroleum products.
