FIELD: biotechnology, industrial microbiology, microbiological industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a novel bacterial culture destructing oil and petroleum products. The strain Rhodococcus globerulus TCH-OK is isolated from a sample of oil-polluted waters obtained from the West-Siberian deposit and this strain is deposited in All-Russian Collection of Industrial Microorganisms at number VKPM AC-1640. Invention provides increasing the rate of utilization of oil and petroleum products.
EFFECT: valuable properties of bacterial strain.
