FIELD: transport engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for converting energy of running vehicle rolling onto "lying policemen" on road. Converter contains projection over road bed installed on roadway lane square to its longitudinal axis and consisting of two surfaces inclined to opposite sides and coupled with mechanism to convert gravity force of vehicle into output signal. Mechanism is arranged in cavity under road bed. Inclined surface used for rolling into projection is made as assembly of resilient chambers in form of wedge installed side by side and tightly fitted to each other. Width of wedge is equal to mean width of vehicle wheel. Chambers are filled with ferromagnetic liquid and are provided with through hole near top and base of wedge on lower surface. Inclined surface used for rolling off the projection is made solid and resilient. Conversion mechanism is essentially magnetic circuit in form of permanent magnet with ring magnetic circuit, fitted-on coils and working gap in which central parts of tubes are located, ends of each tube connected with holes in one of chambers.
