FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed power installation relates to power engineering and its operation is related to converting mechanical energy of a vehicle passing through it into electrical energy. The power installation contains a roadway, a traffic area, on which a rod is hinged, reversible converter of reciprocal motion of the rod into rotational motion of the shaft of the generator and accumulator batteries. The traffic area is provided with reinforcement ribs and is made from flexible, bent material (for example, metal sheet with length 8-12 m and bend of 0.2 m). One end of the traffic area is hinged and the other freely rests on a roller. Both ends are on the level of the roadway. When a vehicle passes through the traffic area straightens up and rests on stop bolts with damping devices. These stop bolts prevent the traffic part from going below the level of the roadway.
EFFECT: increased generation of electrical energy, while reducing accident rate of vehicles, pollution and noise levels on the streets, as well as provision for moving over the power installation.
