FIELD: manufacture of building materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions of concrete mixes and can be used when manufacturing concrete and reinforced-concrete items. Concrete mix contains 11,2% cement, 63.6% broken stone, 15.2-15.7% quartz sand, 7,0% water, and 2.5-3.0% of damping additive, notably water-treatment and water-softening sludge formed at heat-and-power stations during treatment of makeup water with lime milk followed by precipitation of lime with coagulant composed of, wt %: SiO₂ 3.78, Fe₂O₃ 4.62, CaO 47.66. MgO 2.71, SO₃ 1.37, other constituents 39,77, and R₂O - the rest.

EFFECT: reduced density and cost of concrete.
