FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method of operation of steam generator comes generator to delivery of heat transfer medium consisting of steam and liquid compounds from intake chamber into steam generation chamber under action of pressure differential, in generation of steam in chamber and release of steam or steam-liquid medium from steam generation chamber. Heat transfer medium from intake chamber is fed into steam generation chamber through capillary partition. Owing to formation of menisci in capillary microchannels of capillary partition, prevention of penetration of steam through capillary partition is ensured or process takes place precluding penetration of steam in form of steam bubbles whose diameters exceed cross size of narrow place of capillary microchannel with largest cross size of narrow place.
EFFECT: provision of regulated delivery of heat transfer medium.
