FIELD: aircraft and rocket technology; antenna fairings for high-speed rockets of various classes.
SUBSTANCE: through longitudinal slots, 1 - 2 mm wide, half or two thirds of adhesive bond between ceramic fairing and metal frame in length, are provided in metal frame of attachment point between ceramic fairing and flying-vehicle body; these slots are disposed through center of adhesive bond and spaced apart through distance equal to length of adhesive bond; specified bonding joint thickness equals maximal difference between radial temperature displacements of ceramic fairing and frame at maximal operating temperature level of up to 500 °C.
EFFECT: enhanced operating time and reliability of fairing at attachment point heating to maximal operating temperature.
