FIELD: aviation, rocket engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention deals predominantly with antenna failings of high-velocity rockets of various classes. Metal frame is joined to ceramic cap over conjugated conical surfaces with the use of elastic heat-resistant adhesive-sealing agent. It has lesser rigidity in radial direction than ceramic cap due to making row of longitudinal non-through grooves uniformly distributed over outer surface which width and depth as well as their number are determined by value of power and heat loads acting on fairing. Metal frame is jointed to coupling flange over its outer surface and is limited against axial displacement by collar made on end of frame and located in annular groove of coupling flange, on one side, and by thrust ring permanently joined to coupling flange, on the other side. EFFECT: prolonged service life, increased strength of metal- ceramics joint subjected to action of power and heat loads on fairing. 3 dwg
