FIELD: water purification apparatus.
SUBSTANCE: proposed apparatus has housing with primary space for water to be filtered inside it, secondary space for filtered water and filtering units. Filtering units are used for filtering water directed by gravity from primary space to secondary space. Said filtering units operate through fine filtering film made from plastic-based material. Additional space under primary space is used for filtering units and is connected with primary space; its cross-section is lesser than that of primary space. Additional space is used for complete separation of filtering unit surrounded by non-cleaned water from secondary space.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of purification of water.
