FIELD: liquid purification. SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a device for purification of liquids. The device contains the filtering means (1) for separation of impurities in a liquid to be treated by a mechanical filtration and by means of purification (2), such as a member made out of an activated charcoal or a similar component used for removal of impurities from the indicated liquid by sorption or any other appropriate way. At that the indicated means (1 and 2) are practically built in the device. Mechanical filtering means (1) are supplied with a thin filtering film (1р), manufactured out of a plastic based material like track membrane, pickled track membrane or a similar material. At that its porosity makes 5-15 %, thickness - preferably is 10-25 microns, and pores size - 0.5 microns along all its height. Technical result - simplicity of the design, reliable treatment of a liquid, including its preliminary filtering before contact with a member made out of an activated charcoal, that has the form of a fixed cylinder, as well as the device technical reliability and safety of application.
