FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed compensator contains valve body, spring-loaded rod and compensating element arranged in body. Rod consists of two part: lower one with valve plate and upper one with compensating element including screw mated through thread with rod, and slider installed for reciprocation along axis of slider under action of spring. Screw and slider are in contact through fine tooth surfaces. Valve body is mounted in engine housing through sealing gasket and it is fixed by split nut which presses valve body to engine housing and is locked by retainer.
EFFECT: improved reliability and convenience in operation, possibility of adjustment.
