SUBSTANCE: damping support for rotors comprises metallic adjacent belts assembled in a stack with an inclination to the axis of rotation of the rotor. The damping support is provided with additional lubricant which contains an admixture that enhances the volume viscosity and diffusion capability of the lubricating layer.
