FIELD: geophysics.
SUBSTANCE: device has body, in which gamma-radiation source, two gamma-radiation detectors, protective screen, electronic block, pressing device, made in form of level with elastic drive to one of well walls, are placed. Gamma-radiation detectors and electronic block are positioned in thermostat. On the side of collimation apertures of body additional level is placed, in leading shoulder of which elastic element is mounted. Both levers are provided with measuring nodes for distances from well walls to device wall on the side of collimation apertures.
EFFECT: simplified construction, lesser dimensions, higher precision, higher durability, higher reliability, broader functional capabilities, higher efficiency.
