FIELD: agriculture, in particular, creation of pasture agrophytocenoses on virgin and lea lands and biological amelioration thereof.
SUBSTANCE: method involves providing wide-row sowing of shrub and semi-shrub seeds and additional sowing of seeds in grassy plant spacings. Basic shrub component is winterfat sown in conjunction with other semi-shrubs during late autumn-winter period. Grassy plant components of phytocenosis, including agropyron, wheat grass, meadow grass, and astragalus, are sown next year in spring along previously provided marker lines.
EFFECT: increased efficiency in restoring disturbed land plant cover, creation of ameliorative phytocenosis, reduced volume of works, and reduced amount of lands tending to erosion.
