FIELD: agriculture, in particular, methods for increasing of natural-and-feeding grassland yield.

SUBSTANCE: method involves creating alternating narrow 3-10 m wide strips with grass testicles and with 30-100 m wide reclamation strips; providing surface tillage of top layer in narrow strips to 0.10-0.12 m depth each 6-8 years using heavy disk harrows; additionally sowing grass seeds, in particular fairway crested grass seeds, at sowing rate of 20-25 kg/ha of viable seeds into tilled strips to 2-3 cm depth for cereal crops; performing pre-sowing and post-sowing compacting of narrow strip surfaces; providing surface application of mineral fertilizers during early spring period at sowing rate of 60-70 kg of actual weight/ha for nitrogenous fertilizers and 15-20 kg of actual weight/ha for phosphorous fertilizers; mowing vegetative mass in narrow strips and distributing it on reclamation strip surfaces; each 3-4 years, performing slitting in narrow strips and in reclamation strips by creating narrow 1-2 cm wide slits to 0.3-0.4 m depth at 1.1-1.4 m pitch. Method allows grassland yield to be increased by 3-3.5 times in comparison with natural grasslands.

EFFECT: simplified method and increased grassland yield.
