FIELD: agriculture, in particular, methods for creating of pasture agrophytogenoses on virgin and unused lands and biological amelioration.

SUBSTANCE: method involves providing sowing in drills seeds of bushes and perennial grassy kinds of plants; using seeds of bushes and subshrubs such as vitex, winterfat, camphor-fume, and seeds of perennial meadow grasses such as bulbous meadow grass, wheat grass, and false wheat as components of pasture agrophytocenoses. Seeds are sown in strips tilled in late autumn period by turning soil layer to 0.20-0.22 m depth, with surface leveling, presowing and sowing covering passes of wide-row crops to 0,005-0.010 m depth. Seeds of bushes and narrow-row crops such as meadow grass crops are sown to 0.01-0.03 m depth. Sowing process is performed in late autumn-winter (November-December) period or winter-early spring (February-March) periods at ratio of fodder plant kinds: 50-60% of subshrubs and 40-50% of grasses for spring-summer duration pasture; 60-85% of subshrubs and 15-40% of grasses for autumn-winter duration pasture; and 65-75% of subshrubs and 25-35% of grasses for year-round duration pasture. After intensive utilization of pasture for 8-10 years and reduction in density of planting in pasture agrophytocenoses to 60-65%, soil top layer is tilled in two tracks by means of disk harrows and seeds of arid fodder and meadow plants are sown at the rate of 30-35% of initial norms with following utilization for pasturing from autumn of next year.

EFFECT: provision for recovering of plant cover of disturbed pasture, creation of ameliorative phytocenoses, reduced amount of works and decreased areas of erosion dangerous portions of lands.
