FIELD: agricultural engineering.
SUBSTANCE: root harvester has digging apparatus, movable carrier frame, conveyor and accumulating vessel. Conveyor is disposed inside drum mounted on carrier drum and is made in the form of netted belt shaped as Archimedes' spiral. Rotating disk-type sprayers are arranged at outlet end of spiral in front of accumulating vessel and adapted for superlow-volume spraying of protective preparations.
EFFECT: reduced consumption of power for spraying process, reduced damage to tubers and effective protection of tubers from disease pathogens.
