METHOD FOR PIPE BEADING INSIDE WELL Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: well drilling, particularly for beading devices formed of profiles pipes during installation thereof in wells.

SUBSTANCE: device has body with central channel and conical surface provided with depressions for roller receiving. The rollers are secured to axes having detachably secured upper ends. Lower axes ends are installed in supports hinged to body so that supports may rotate in plane extending through longitudinal geometrical body and roller axes. Roller advancing into working position is performed with the use of spring-loaded annular piston with pushers cooperating with roller axes. Body is provided with radial extensions located on conical body surface between rollers. Maximal diameter of circle circumscribed around extensions is approximately equal to nominal well diameter within beaded pipe installation range.

EFFECT: increased efficiency and quality of pipe beading.
