METHOD FOR PREPARING COMPLETED GAS WELLS FOR ACCELERATED GAS WELL PUTTING INTO OPERATION IN NORTHERN REGIONS Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: oil and gas producing industry, particularly for temporary completed gas well conservation for producing ability retention and acceleration of well putting into operation.

SUBSTANCE: method involves debugging well up to full industrial liquid carryover during well development; performing gas-dynamic investigations in the well and temporary conservation thereof till putting well into operation. Well preparation is carried out with the use of hydrate development inhibitor, namely methanol, which is injected to bottomhole and bottomhole area of the well to force industrial or condensation liquid into porous formation space farther from perforation interval, partial diluting formation with liquid and heating thereof up to formation temperature. Well putting into operation is performed without well heating by gas flaring. Gas saturated with warm methanol vapor is supplied from well directly in gas-collecting station of well cluster, gathering line and then is conveyed to complex gas preparation plant.

EFFECT: provision of well and gas-collecting equipment operation in non-hydrated mode during well putting into operation before increasing gas temperature at well head up to level increasing temperature of hydrate development due to well product saturation with warm methanol vapor.
