FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: method includes feeding flow of working substance with possible adjustment of flow through serially mounted in standard pipeline standard flow meter and subject heat flow meter. Kinematical viscosity coefficient of substance is predetermined as well as position of sensor of subject flow meter in standard pipeline. Indications Qis of standard flow meter and appropriate indications Ni at output of analog-digital converter of subject flow meter are recorded with each flow. Subject flow meter is mounted in operating pipeline and position of its sensor is determined. For each of recorded indications Ni flow Qiw in working pipeline is determined on basis of average speed of substance flow with flow Qiw. On basis of received couples of values Qiw and Ni grid characteristic is built.

EFFECT: higher efficiency, broader functional capabilities.
