FIELD: electric and radio measurements.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is based on the formation of current ratios of instantaneous values of a signal before and after nonlinear transformation. The current ratios of the neighboring readings of a signal before nonlinear transformation and after nonlinear transformation are compared. The comparison results permit to estimate the degree of nonlinear distortions.
EFFECT: ensuring the possibility of reveal of estimation of nonlinear distortions in the process of fulfillment with an amplifier of its functions.
