FIELD: hydroacoustics; multielement hydroacoustic receiving antennas operating in listening mode.
SUBSTANCE: proposed antenna has hydroacoustic receivers with electrical communication lines integrated into flexible linear receiving modules shielded on rear end of surface and forming frame incorporating double-curvature sections. Each hydroacoustic receiver is mechanically coupled with its respective acoustic baffle. Flexible linear modules are disposed on double-curvature sections of forming frame in non-overlapping tiers and uniformly secured to forming frame throughout their entire length on sections between acoustic baffles. Longitudinal axes of flexible linear modules are disposed in each tier on section lines of double-curvature forming frame sections by vertical planes normal to antenna surface. Maximal distance between longitudinal axes of adjacent flexible linear receiving modules in each tier does not exceed (0.6 - 0.75)λw, where λw is wavelength in water at upper operating-frequency range.
EFFECT: reduced added maxima level, enhanced concentration factor and, hence, noise immunity of antenna, simplified assembly of the latter.
