FIELD: rolled sheet production.
SUBSTANCE: parameters of speed mode of flying shears are determined according to division of the whole range of length values of cut sheets by two intervals. In one interval strip is cut at using two cutters in each drum; in other interval strip is cut at using one cutter in each drum. Limit length of sheets between intervals is determined at satisfying condition of equal cutting speed at using one or two cutters in each drum.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of shears providing high quality of strip surface.
