FIELD: fire tubes.
SUBSTANCE: combustion chamber fire tube of gas-turbine engines and installations has ring-shaped sections inclined to its exit. The sections are separated by cooling slots formed by elbow with hole for feeding air, end part and visor which has to be part of the section. Variable thickness heat shielding coating is applied onto internal surface of sections. Thickness of coating of any section varies to depend functionally on temperature distribution along any length of section and its visor. Thickness is specified at any point of the section by original formula.
EFFECT: improved precision; improved reliability of operation.
