FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves pretreating keloid cicatrix with laser radiation of wavelength equal to 808-812 nm with total radiation power being equal to 2.5-3.0 W. Then, photosensitizing gel based on hyaluronic acid viscoelastic selected from a group of chealon, viscoate or hyatulon is applied to keloid cicatrix surface. The gel contains 0.1-2% by mass of chlorine row photosensitizing agent like one taken from a group composed of photolon, radachlorine or photoditazine. Scanning laser radiation is applied to keloid cicatrix surface after 3-4 h long exposure without access of light. Wavelength is equal to 661-666 nm during 1-3 min with total radiation dose equal to 50-300 j/cm2.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in softening keloid cicatrix, making it flat and of smaller area; reduced surrounding tissue traction.
