FIELD: sugar industry, in particular, reprocessing of cane crude sugar and yellow sugars of beet-sugar production.
SUBSTANCE: method involves providing liquoring of sugar with water having temperature of 80-90°C, with water being preliminarily exposed to electrochemical processing at electric field intensity of 8.1-10.3 V/cm for 3-7 min; directing resultant melt liquor for defecation, saturation and filtration.
EFFECT: increased efficiency in purification of melt liquor.
