FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, shaft-type equipment.
SUBSTANCE: hopper-type grain drier has drying and cooling chambers mounted one onto another in vertical plane and equipped with supply and discharge collectors and protruding supporting members attached from the bottom to outer sides of said chambers. Drier is additionally provided with viewing platforms extending along perimeter of each unit and attached in cantilevered relation on supporting members. Each of viewing platforms has guards connected through tie-rods with supporting members arranged above said platforms. Wall of each unit case is made from sheet material and provided with longitudinal corrugations extending along upper and lower edges, and with end longitudinal rectilinear tape portions, with one edge of sheets of upper and lower unit case being provided with two longitudinal corrugations and one rectilinear tape portion positioned therebetween and equipped with oval apertures, and other edge of these sheets being provided with longitudinal corrugation and end rectilinear longitudinal tape portion with oval apertures. Edges of middle unit case sheet are equipped with one longitudinal corrugation and end rectilinear longitudinal tape portion with apertures.
EFFECT: increased efficiency due to simplified access to drier units and provision repair without stoppage of drier.
