FIELD: drying equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drying equipment and can be used in agricultural and other grain dryers with a gravitational moving bed, for example, mine, louvered, core dryers, etc. A shaft modular louver grain dryer consists of a drying and cooling chamber installed on a support frame of modules consisting of several narrow shafts separated from each other by an inter-shaft space, with louvers located in a staggered manner and bent at a certain angle into the flow, and installed one above the other with the formation of a shaft with vertical rows of channels of drying and cooling sections, a burner, a hot air chamber, a humid air chamber, fans, a dust collection system, a loading hopper located above the drying and cooling chamber. The grain columns forming the shaft have a straight and mirror design and are installed in pairs, and the louvers are bent so that each of them forms a supply half-box and an under-louvre slot of the variable cross-section along one longitudinal side of the column. An outlet half-box and an under-louver slot are located along the other longitudinal side of the column and are identical to the inlet. They are 180 degrees relative to each other. So, when the two types of columns are combined with their longitudinal sides, boxes of the variable cross-section with louvered slots of the variable cross-section appear inside them. There are inlet boxes in one pair. The outlet boxes appear between the pairs. Together they constitute cone-shaped air ducts for uniform air distribution, with a cone angle calculated on the basis of the fact that the total air pressure, which is the sum of static and dynamic pressures, is the same in any cross-section of the inlet or outlet duct, and the supply half-boxes and sub-louvred slots are located in the direction of the hot air chamber, and the outlet half-boxes and under-louvred slots with a large cross section are located in the direction of the moist air chamber.

EFFECT: invention improves quality of the dried grain, uniformity of its drying and increases productivity of the equipment.
