Abstract RU 2260885 C1

FIELD: navigation.

SUBSTANCE: proposed passive radar reflector designed for intensifying radar station echo signal from water transport, navigation marks, bridges, and other objects has set of horizontal conducting plates in the amount of 3n, where n = 1, 2, 3..., in the form of disks spaced at least radar radiation wavelength apart, and vertical relatively perpendicular plates made in the form of rectangles whose width equals diameters of horizontal plates, vertical plates being turned about vertical axis through 45 deg. on section of one third of height.

EFFECT: facilitated location of navigation reflectors by radar in desired elevation range and azimuthal circle at same size; facilitated manufacture.
