FIELD: rocket fuel technologies.
SUBSTANCE: invention provides fire- and erosion-resistant filling composition to armor small-size ballistite rocket fuel charges containing methacrylic acid/triethylene glycol esterification product (1.5-2.5%) combined with filler: mechanochemical mixture of poly(butyl methacrylate) and ground mica (46-48% for mixture) dissolved in butyl methacrylate (50-52%), which composition further contains benzoyl peroxide (0.3-1.0%) as curing agent and dimethylaniline (0-0.5%) as hardening activator.
EFFECT: enhanced resistance to fire and erosion and improved deformation ability.
