FIELD: aids for testing materials.
SUBSTANCE: device can be used for measuring creeping and restorative deformation processes in polymeric materials which processes occur after total or partial off-loading. Device has loading mechanism and chamber in form of cup with cap. Support with grooves and punch with spherical recesses in top edge are mounted inside the chamber. Centering unit with spherical protrusion to provide uniform distribution of stress along the cross-section of sample is mounted in the punch. Device also has unit for reading out deformation characteristic which unit is connected with registrar. Loading mechanism is made of frame inside which frame the off-loading engine is installed to be tightly connected with platform where off-loading pins are installed to cross top holes in the frame. Loading engine with loading pins is installed onto frame between the off-loading pins. Removable top and lower additional weights are made in form of washer provided with slot in its central part. Additional weights rest against loading pins. Sizes of lower washer do not exceed distance between pins of off-loading engine, and sizes of additional weight exceed distance between loading pins. Suspension of top platform is hung over top lever of set of levers through the loop; arms relate as 1:10. Lever is made in form of fork embracing the working pin of punch and fixed by hinges onto top support of bed. The top lever is hinged through link onto which the balancing weight is tightly fixed and is connected by hinges with lower lever to have relation of arms as 5:1. Lower lever is fixed by hinges onto lower support of bed and is connected with working pin through hinges. Lower end of lever has cylindrical tip with spherical protrusion to rest against recess in punch made in form of washer. Aid for reading deformation characteristic out is made in form of synchro transmitter mounted onto bed and tightly connected with working pin of punch through lever. Washer-shaped support has recess in its lower part for centering along height by means of adjusting screw, which is screwed into working table of bed. Chamber made in form of cup with cap is made dismountable and consists of two halves where heating elements are installed uniformly in vertical along the circle. Characteristic of deformation rigidity of the sample is defined as measuring load in relation to corresponding value of deformation subject to change.
