FIELD: atomic industry; manufacture of fuel elements for nuclear reactors.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes displacement of component parts (bottom plugs, top plug separately from retainers and the latter with aid of vibration transducer that imparts reciprocal motion to guides with net in-between; displacement of this net through waves in baths filled with degreasing and washing solutions and through drying chamber, waves in these baths being produced by means of pipes communicating with process line pumps.
EFFECT: improved quality of fuel-element welds, enhanced yield and operating reliability of fuel elements.
